Entertaiment is a term that encompasses many forms of entertainment. It can be anything from a daily crossword puzzle to an elaborately choreographed ball; from an evening of theater or dance, to a music concert or comedy show. It also includes many of the activities that we engage in for our own pleasures, like playing video games or eating a meal with friends. It may also include a ceremonial, religious or social event or an adventurous, comic or picaresque novel.
